Report: T-Mobile Now Has the Most Prepaid Customers in US Wireless Industry

In a sudden turn of events, T-Mobile is now recognized as the carrier with the most number of prepaid customers. The Un-carrier has surpassed Verizon with this achievement.  Fierce Wireless earlier gave a report comparing the Q3 2023 earnings of the two wireless carriers. Yesterday, both Verizon and T-Mobile trended on social media for negative reasons. It turned out that there were a number of customers of either carrier who experienced a service outage. T-Mobile launched nationwide coverage for its 5G network late last year, and since then it’s been busy expanding that reach with more 600MHz and 2.5GHz spectrum.
