T-Mobile investigates part in Tracfone security breach

TracFone Acquires T-Mobile MVNO Simple Mobile

America Movil’s U.S. based MVNO, TracFone has announced the purchase of T-Mobile MVNO Simple Mobile for an undisclosed amount. TracFone is the nation’s largest MVNO with around 20.1 million subscribers, Simple Mobile counts 1 million subscribers. Tracfone To Launch Handset On T-Mobile’s HSPA+ Network?

TraceFone’s Straight Talk service will soon see a high-end Android smartphone running on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network. According to BTIG Analyst Walter Piecyk, Straight Talk will launch the LG Optimus 2x later this month supporting T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network.
