T-Mobile wins new spectrum that allows expansion in select rural areas

Earlier today, T-Mobile unveiled the good news– it won the Federal Communication Commission (FCC)’s recent 2.5GHz spectrum auction that awards them over 7,000 county-based licenses. With this, they are now able to reach 81 million people who live in rural areas. T-Mobile participates in Central States Communications Exercise

T-Mobile’s emergency management team is currently participating in the 2022 Central States Communications Exercise. The emergency training is taking place in Quapaw, Oklahoma and will last until Friday, September 16th. Unifi picks T-Mobile, Hyperion Partners for new Managed Mobility Program

Unifi, the largest aviation services provider in North America, has picked T-Mobile and Hyperion Partners as its new partner for connecting its employees.  Through this partnership, Unifi will be running a new “Managed Mobility” program that gives its 23,000 employees a personal 5G smartphone with access to T-Mobile’s 5G network for free.   According to the release, eligible employees that can participate in the program include existing employees and new hires who have completed 30 days of employment. … [read full article]

AT&T sues T-Mobile over BannedSeniors campaign

Last week, T-Mobile acted on behalf of its customers (and non-customers) by unveiling its new BannedSeniors campaign. Through the campaign, T-Mobile exposed its competitors for not making senior discounts available to customers who weren’t residing in Florida. T-Mobile expands Home Internet network northeast

T-Mobile is painting the northeast Magenta.  In an announcement made today, T-Mobile revealed that they have expanded their 5G Home Internet service to Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. This expansion gives over three million households access to home broadband. T-Mobile brings 5G to Lollapalooza

A few weeks ago, one of the largest summer music festivals was held in Chicago. And in this year’s Lollapalooza, T-Mobile partnered with Google Pixel to bring 5G to participants.  Over 170 artists performed throughout the 4-day event.
