T-Mobile continues to maintain network and expand capacity despite coronavirus

T-Mobile and Sprint closed their merger a couple of weeks ago, but with the coronavirus pandemic, some folks might be worried that T-Mo’s network improvements may be delayed. T-Mobile shares an update on customers’ phone usage during coronavirus pandemic

Last month T-Mobile revealed some info on how its customers were using the network as they began to work from home due to the coronavirus pandemic. Today T-Mo has some more stats to share. T-Mobile asks FCC for permission to operate on 2.5GHz band in Philadelphia

A new filing submitted by T-Mobile to the FCC this week has revealed the carrier’s desire to use 2.5GHz spectrum in Philadelphia. In an application filed with the FCC, T-Mobile says it’d like special temporary authority (STA) to operate on the 2570-2630MHz band in Philadelphia that’s currently licensed or leased to Sprint or one of Sprint’s affiliates.
