FCC Chairman launching investigation into ‘unacceptable’ T-Mobile network outage

T-Mobile having network issues, particularly in the Southeast

If you’re having some issues with your T-Mobile service today, you’re not the only one. Reports are pouring in from T-Mo customers who say they’ve got no service this afternoon. T-Mobile extends agreements to borrow 600MHz spectrum through June 30

When people began sheltering in place to fight the spread of the coronavirus, T-Mobile gained access to additional 600MHz spectrum to help its network handle the extra load. That extra spectrum was loaned to T-Mo from several other companies for 60 days. One week after T-Mobile flipped the switch on its 2.5GHz-based 5G in New York City, T-Mobile President of Technology Neville Ray has talked a bit on how quicly T-Mo will be deploying 2.5GHz 5G to other parts of the country.
