One week after receiving a software update, the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 9 is now receiving another update.

T-Mobile is now updating its Galaxy Note 9 to version N960USQS2CSGB. The update is 193.89MB and includes the August 1, 2019 Android security patches.

This update is now rolling out over the air, and TmoNews readers Edmund and Moshe have already gotten it today. If you don’t feel like waiting for your update to roll out over the air, you can check for it manually by going into Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.

The Galaxy Note 9 isn’t an old phone, as it was just released one year ago and still has high-end specs. With the impending launch of the Note 10, though, some Note 9 owners may not be feeling so hot about their device right now. T-Mo and Samsung are showing the Note 9 some love now with two security updates and Night Mode for the camera in the span of a week, showing that it’s still an important device.
