We just saw the Galaxy S10 and S9 get updates from T-Mobile, and now the Galaxy S8 is being updated as well.

T-Mobile is now pushing updates to its Galaxy S8 and S8+, bumping them to versions G950USQU6DSJ6 and G955USQU6DSJ6, respectively. T-Mo hasn’t published an official changelog for either of these updates yet, but we do know that they’re based on the October 2019 Android security patch level.

TmoNews reader Joanna received the new Galaxy S8 update this weekend, so we know that these updates have started rolling out over the air. If you’re rocking a Galaxy S8 or S8+, you can check for your new update by jumping into the Settings app and then tapping on “Software update” followed by “Download updates manually”.
