A few days after updating its Galaxy Note 9, T-Mobile is now pushing updates for its Galaxy S9 and S9+.
The T-Mobile Galaxy S9 is now receiving an update to version G960USQU6CSI2, while the Galaxy S9+ is being bumped to version G965USQU6CSI2. S9 owners can expect a 794.39MB update, while S9+ owners will be getting a 772.06MB update.
These updates include the September 1, 2019 Android security patches, which are an upgrade from the July 1, 2019 security patches that the S9 and S9+ were on before. Reddit user ictRider also notes that these updates add Night Mode, which helps you snap better photos in low-light situations.
TmoNews readers Rick and Jeff got their updates this morning, so if you’re using an S9 or S9+, you should receive your update soon. You also have the option of checking for your update manually by jumping into Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.
Once you’ve installed it, please be sure to share your first impressions of the update and Night Mode with us!
Thanks, Rick and Jeff!
