Samsung Galaxy S10 owners, your wait is finally over: Night Mode is here.
T-Mobile is now updating its Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e. The updates are each around 600MB in size and include the August 1, 2019 Android security patches. They also bring a dedicated Night Mode to the Camera app, letting you more easily capture low-light photos, as well as QR code scanning.
Galaxy S10 owners on T-Mo have been waiting for Night Mode for a while now. The international version of the S10 got the feature months ago, and more recently, the AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon versions of the S10 also got Night Mode. And while it might be kind of frustrating that it took so long for the feature to get here, we’re happy that it’s finally arrived.
Galaxy S10 owners should be on the lookout for an update to version G973USQU2BSGJ, while Galaxy S10+ users should watch for version G975USQU2BSGJ and Galaxy S10e folks will want to keep an eye out for version G970USQU2BSGJ.
These updates should be going out over the air during the coming days. You can also check for your phone’s update manually by launching your Settings app and selecting “Software update” followed by “Download updates manually”. Once you’ve updated, be sure to share your first impressions of Night Mode with us!
Thanks, Michael, Daryl, Moshe, Tom, and Mike!
