The Galaxy S10 phones are now getting another update.
T-Mobile is now pushing the July 2019 security update to the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10e. Unfortunately for owners of the S10 series phones, the dedicated Night Mode for the camera doesn’t appear to be included. The feature was rolled out to Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint S10 models over the past month or so, and so there’s been hope that T-Mobile customers would get it soon, too, but it looks like the wait for Night Mode on T-Mo S10s continues.
If you’ve got a T-Mobile Galaxy S10, you should be on the lookout for an update to version G973USQU2ASGC. Galaxy S10+ owners are getting an update to version G975USQU2ASGC, and Galaxy S10e users are receiving version G970USQU2ASGC.
These updates should be going out over the air in the coming days. If you don’t feel like waiting for the OTA update, you can check for it manually by going into Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.
Thanks, Aaron and Mr P!
