T-Mobile Galaxy Note 9 update brings Night Mode to the camera
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 owners, there’s a big update now headed your way.
T-Mobile is now sending an update to its Galaxy Note 9 that comes in at 882.55MB. This nearly one gig update bumps the Note 9 up to version N960USQU2CSGA.
Included in the update are the July 1, 2019 Android security patches. The update also brings a dedicated Night Mode for the camera, which is something that the Galaxy S10 is still missing despite getting its July security update this past weekend. Samsung touts that with Night Mode helps to reduce noise, correct colors, and improve other image qualities to help get you better photos in low light situations.
This Galaxy Note 9 update is now rolling out over the air, and TmoNews readers Fernando and Debjit have already gotten it on their phones. If you’re itching to give Night Mode a try, you can manually check for your Note 9’s update by going into Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.
Once the update arrives, be sure to let us know what you think of Night Mode now that it’s finally here!
Thanks, Fernando and Debjit!
