T-Mobile launches #TreeMobile campaign to donate up to 500,000 trees
Earth Day is coming up, and just like it did last year, T-Mobile is celebrating the holiday by planting trees.
T-Mobile is partnering with The Nature Conservancy to plant up to 500,000 trees over the next three months. Starting today, April 16th, through April 21st, you can use the T-Mobile Tuesdays app to play a nature-themed scavenger hunt. When you find two or more hidden objects, T-Mobile will make a donation to plant a tree through The Nature Conservancy on your behalf, up to 300,000 trees. You’ll also have the chance to win a $1,000 cash prize when you play. If you share the game on social media after playing, you’ll earn a second chance to win the cash.
T-Mo will then donate up to 200,000 more trees over the coming months. From April 22nd through April 28th, every Twitter or Instagram post with a trash cleanup photo and the hashtags #TreeMobile and #TrashTag will result in T-Mo donating a tree to The Nature Conservancy on your behalf.
From May 16th through May 22nd, posting tree photos on Twitter or Instagram with the #TreeMobile hashtag will get T-Mobile to donate another tree for each picture shared.
Finally, from June 5th through June 11th, customers who get outside and share photos using the hashtag #TreeMobile on Twitter or Instagram will get T-Mobile to donate another tree to The Nature Conservancy for every hashtag posted.
The tree-planting effort gets underway today, so jump into the T-Mobile Tuesdays app to play the scavenger game, plant trees, and have the chance to win a thousand bucks.
