A trio of Samsung phones are now receiving updates from T-Mobile.
The Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+, and Galaxy Note 9 are all being updated today. The Galaxy S9 is getting a 524.55MB update to version G960USQS4CSC8, the S9+’s 526.00MB update bumps it to version G965USQS4CSC8, and the Note 9 is receiving a 177.61MB update to version N960USQS1CSD1.
As for what’s included, all three phones are getting the April 1, 2019 Android security patches. The changelogs for the updates don’t mention any other changes, so it’s unclear what else might be packed inside.
TmoNews readers Casey, Maciej, and Debjit all received these updates this morning, so if you’ve got a Galaxy S9, S9+, or Note 9, you should see the update on your phone soon. You can also check for it manually by going into your Settings app and selecting “Software update” followed by “Download updates manually”.
Once your Galaxy S9, S9+, or Note 9 gets its update, be sure to let us know if you spot any changes!
Thanks, Casey, Maciej, and Debjit!
