Heads up, Galaxy Note 9 owners, because you’ve got a software update heading your way.
T-Mobile is now pushing an update to version N960USQS1ARH6 to its Samsung Galaxy Note 9. The update is 98.57MB in size and it includes the September 1, 2018 Android security patches.
TmoNews reader Mike received the update today, so if you’ve got a T-Mobile Galaxy Note 9, be on the lookout for your own update in the coming days. If you don’t feel like waiting, you can manually check for the update by going into Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.
Updates that include security patches like this may not be super exciting, but it’s good that T-Mobile and Samsung are improving the security of the Note 9. People are increasingly relying on their smartphone as their only form of communication, using them to talk with others, take photos, watch videos, and more, and so it’s important that these devices have good security to protect the personal data that’s stored on them.
Thanks, Mike!
