After getting paused earlier this month, it looks like the T-Mobile LG V30’s Oreo update is back on.
T-Mobile has confirmed that it’s restarting the Android 8.0 Oreo update for its LG V30. The update began rolling out again last night and will continue going out over the air during the coming weeks.
T-Mo explains that LG V30 owners should update their McAfee Security for T-Mobile App to version 4.9 or higher before installing this Android 8.0 Oreo update. Also of note is that to prevent network congestion, daily limits will be placed on the update’s rollout. That limit will be lifted after July 3rd.
This update is version H93220h, which is the same version that first started rolling out earlier this month. In addition to a bump to Android 8.0, that update included the April 1, 2018 Android security patches.
Thanks, Red, Casey, and Patrick!
