After releasing a few point updates for iOS 11 last month and this month, Apple is now pushing out a more significant release.
iOS 11.1 is now available for download. It’s available to iPhone models from the iPhone 5s and up, iPad mini 2 and up, the iPad 5th gen, both iPad Air models, and all iPad Pro models.
As for what’s included, Apple is highlighting the new emoji in this update. There are more than 70 new emoji included in iOS 11.1, including broccoli, a sled, a pie, a vampire, a hedgehog, a face with a monocle, a shushing face, and many more.
The update to iOS 11.1 also includes some bug fixes and unspecified improvements, so there’s that to look forward to if you’re not big on emoji.
To get iOS 11.1, grab your iPhone or iPad and go into Settings > General > Software Update.
Apple also released watchOS 4.1 for the Apple Watch today. This update adds Apple Music streaming for the Apple Watch Series 3 with LTE, a new Radio app, and support for GymKit. With GymKit, you’ll be able to tap your Apple Watch to a compatible piece of gym equipment and have the two devices share information to help give you a more accurate picture of your workout.
You can download watchOS 4.1 by loading up the Watch app on your iPhone and going into General, then tapping Software Update.
