It may be a holiday weekend, but that hasn’t stopped T-Mobile from pushing out updates to some of its devices.
Owners of both the T-Mobile Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge are reporting that they’ve recently received software updates. The Galaxy S7 has been updated to software version G930TUVS4BQE1, while the Galaxy S7 edge has been updated to G935TUVS4BQE1.
T-Mobile hasn’t updated its support documents for either phone as of the time that I’m writing this, but we can tell that both phones have received updated security patches. After updating, both the T-Mobile Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are on the May 1, 2017 security patch level, up from the March 1, 2017 security patch level.
The MetroPCS Galaxy S7 is also receiving an update. The new update is version G930T1UVS4BQE1 and includes the May 1, 2017 security patch level.
Thanks, American Patriot, Jeff, Jay, and Edmund!
