T-Mobile announced its Black Friday deals last week, but with a few days before the offers become available, T-Mo has decided to amp up its Black Friday sale.
Starting Thursday, November 24, T-Mobile will give you a free flagship smartphone from Apple, Samsung, or LG when you trade in a qualifying device that you own in full. The deal will only be available this weekend and requires either a T-Mobile One or Simple Choice Unlimited plan. Like T-Mo’s other recent free phone offers, this one also covers the cost of the device with 24 monthly bill credits.
The free devices available with this promotion include the 32GB iPhone 7, 32GB iPhone 7 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S7, Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, and LG V20.
It’s worth noting that only select device trade-ins will get you a free phone. For example, to get a free 32GB iPhone 7, you’ll need a Samsung Galaxy S6 or newer, Galaxy Note 5, LG V20 or G5, or an iPhone 6s or newer. For a free LG V20, you’ll need to trade in an iPhone 7 Plus or Galaxy S7 edge.
T-Mobile will also let you trade in older phones for a new Apple, Samsung, or LG phone, but you’ll need to pay some cash up front. You’ll also have the option of getting an iPhone with more storage if you pony up some extra cash.
For more details on this trade-in offer, check out the documents below.
T-Mobile is also handing out some money for Black Friday. Customers that switch to T-Mobile and take advantage of the aforementioned trade-in offer can get a $200 prepaid MasterCard card per line, up to 12 lines for $2,400. If you’d prefer to bring your own device to T-Mobile, you can do so and add it to a T-Mobile One line to get $200 in bill credits spread out over 20 months.
Finally, T-Mobile is giving everyone — including non-T-Mobile customers — one free hour of Gogo inflight Wi-Fi on their smartphones. This offer will be good through November 26.
All of these deals are in addition to the Black Friday offers that T-Mo previously announced. Those include a free Gear VR with the purchase of a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge, $70 off the UE Boom 2 wireless speaker, and more.
