One day after launching a promo family plan that includes four lines with 10GB of high-speed data each, T-Mobile is taking the wraps off of a two-line promo plan.
Starting tomorrow, April 8, T-Mobile will offer a plan with two lines of unlimited talk, text, and data along with 6GB of high-speed data for each line. The plan will cost $80 per month, and it’ll be available for a limited time.
Here’s what T-Mobile CEO John Legere had to say about the new promo plan:
“Families who want fewer lines deserve a better option and we’re giving them one! Don’t let Verizon trick you with their misleading ads. They lure you in with the promise of a ‘Large’ serving of data for $60, only to sneak in another $20 PER LINE in monthly access fees – to use the data you already own! At Verizon, $60 actually means $100 for 2 lines and 6 GB! Even worse, these guys charge you those access fee again and again, every single month. Don’t believe the BS; come to T-Mobile where we do data different!”
T-Mobile is also getting ready to kick off a deal on the LG K7 and Samsung Galaxy Core Prime. With it, any new or existing T-Mo customer can get the K7 or Galaxy Core Prime for $0 down, regardless of their credit. The LG K7 will be available to all for $0 down starting tomorrow, while the Galaxy Core Prime is “coming soon.”
