T-Mobile Music Freedom is gaining support for 11 more streaming services

UPDATE: To clarify, T-Mobile has told me that Music Freedom “only supports TuneIn Premium,” not the free version of TuneIn.

 

Ever since T-Mobile launched Music Freedom in June 2014, it’s been working to expand the offering and make even more music services free to stream for Magenta customers. Fast-forward to today and T-Mo says that customers using Music Freedom to stream 196 million songs per day, up 311 percent from when the Un-carrier move first launched. And now 11 more services are being added to Music Freedom. These new services are available to stream free with Music Freedom starting today, December 1:

One of the biggest additions here is TuneIn Premium, a service that been letting users stream radio stations for quite a while. There are some other nice inclusions here too, like KCRW and Noon Pacific. It’s also just good to see that T-Mobile is still working to add more services to Music Freedom a year and a half after it was announced.

With today’s announcement, there are 44 music services included with Music Freedom. The full list looks like this:
