Unlocked BlackBerry Priv is fully compatible with T-Mobile, including band 12 LTE and Wi-Fi calling
T-Mobile hasn’t announced any official plans to sell the BlackBerry Priv, but if you’re thinking about picking one up, you’ll be glad to hear that it’ll play nicely with T-Mo’s network.
Mike Sievert has confirmed (twice) that the unlocked BlackBerry Priv will be fully compatible with T-Mobile, including band 12 LTE — aka Extended Range LTE — and Wi-Fi calling support. As a refresher, the BlackBerry Priv supports HSPA+ on bands 1, 2, 4, 5/6, and 8, as well as LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 17, 20, 29, and 30.

As far as an official release goes, rumors have suggested that T-Mobile will sell the Priv, but there have been no announcements from T-Mo so far. Mike Sievert recently said that an @TMobileHelp Tweet saying that T-Mobile won’t carry the Priv is wrong, explaining that T-Mobile doesn’t carry the Priv right now. “Will update as soon as we have something to report,” he added.
If you’d rather not wait to find out whether or not T-Mobile will sell the BlackBerry Priv, you can pre-order an unlocked unit directly from BlackBerry for $699.
