Costco offering $250 gift card with purchase of T-Mobile Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6, S6 edge, or S6 edge+
If you’re thinking about treating yourself to a new smartphone this holiday season, you may want to check out Costco’s new promotion.
Costco today kicked off a promo that’ll give you a $250 Costco Cash Card when you buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 5, Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 edge, or Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+. There seems to be some confusion about whether this offer only applies to new customers/lines or if upgrades count, too, with different folks apparently being told different stories by Costco reps. Some people that’ve taken advantage of the offer say that EIP and a Simple Choice plan are required, and we know that the promo will run through November 30.
Because Costco is a membership-only warehouse chain, you’ll need a Costco membership to buy a phone and take advantage of the promo. If you do have a membership, this looks like a pretty solid deal on Samsung’s range of 2015 flagship phones. They’ve got some of the best cameras you can get on an Android phone as well as some other pretty respectable features, and the $250 gift card that you’ll get represents a sizable chunk of these phones’ prices.
It’s also worth mentioning that you if you do buy a phone, you can get some extra goodies through a couple of Samsung promotions. Samsung is currently offering a choice of two accessory bundles to folks that buy a new Note 5, GS6, GS6 edge, or GS6 edge+ by December 13. And then there’s a Samsung Pay promo that’ll give a $50 rebate check to any T-Mobile Note 5, GS6, GS6 edge, or GS6 edge+ owner that signs up for Samsung Pay and registers at least 1 credit or debit card by December 31.
