Nearly two years ago, when Un-carrier was still in its infancy, T-Mobile launched Simple Global. The feature is meant to help customers stay connected while abroad, giving them unlimited data and text as well as 20 cents per minute calling in 115 countries. Fast-forward to today and T-Mo is adding another 20 countries to Simple Global.
The latest expansion to Simple Global enables the feature to cover all of Europe and South America. With the additional 20 countries, the number of countries covered by Simple Global has risen to 145. Here’s the exact list of countries being added today:
Caribbean countries
- Bahamas
- Haiti
9 European countries
- Monaco
- Albania
- Belarus
- Bosnia
- Liechtenstein
- Macedonia
- Montenegro
- Serbia
- Slovenia
European “destinations”
- Guernsey
- Alderney
- Jersey

- Isle of Man (part of SIT)
Non-European countries
- Azerbaijan

When traveling abroad with other major US carriers, it can be confusing to figure out what each international plan offers and expensive when you finally do get signed up. Simple Global aims to address both issues, and while the 128kbps data speeds mean that you won’t be streaming any high-def video or downloading large files, you’ll still be able to do things like check maps and get messages without an issue.
