BlackBerry Classic now getting its Wi-Fi Calling update
Two days after T-Mobile teased an update to add Wi-Fi Calling to the BlackBerry Classic, it’s now rolling out.
An update to BlackBerry OS 10.3.2.2789 is now being pushed to the Classic, complete with Wi-Fi Calling in tow. The update is 198MB in size and will be rolling out between September 30 and October 30. If you’d like to grab it manually, you can check for the update by going into Settings > Software Updates > Check for Updates.
The BlackBerry Classic launched back in May and brought with it the return of BlackBerry hardware to T-Mobile’s shelves after a small tiff that resulted from the two companies ending their partnership. The addition of Wi-Fi Calling support is big for the Classic, and it’s nice to see a major new feature being added to the device months after launch, giving anyone that’s rocking the phone a nice Wednesday treat.
If you’ve got a BlackBerry Classic, let us know when you get this update!
