When BlackBerry and T-Mobile ended their kerfuffle back in May, the two celebrated by unleashing the BlackBerry Classic on T-Mo’s shelves. Now the sole BlackBerry on T-Mobile’s roster is in the news again thanks to a sale.
T-Mobile is now offering the BlackBerry Classic for $369.99, a full $69.93 off of the Classic’s previous price of $439.92. If you long to feel BlackBerry’s fabled physical keyboard beneath your thumbs, you can get the Classic for $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $15.42.
As a refresher, the BlackBerry Classic has a 3.5-inch 720×720 display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, a microSD slot, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, and a 2515mAh battery. The Classic is meant to combine the looks of a BlackBerry 10 device and an old-school BlackBerry Bold, complete with a tool belt with Send, End, Menu, and Back keys as well as a trackpad.
It’s been good to see BlackBerry back on T-Mobile the past couple of months, but the Classic’s price has strangely been much higher at T-Mobile than in BlackBerry’s own shop. With this sale, T-Mobile’s price is much closer to the $379 price that BlackBerry is asking for a Classic from its online shop.
