Android 5.0 update for T-Mobile Galaxy Note Edge now available
T-Mobile Galaxy Note Edge users, your Android 5.0 Lollipop update has arrived. The carrier started the software update rollout this morning and – so far – a handful of customers have already emailed and tweeted us to let us know that they have the new firmware installed. If you’re yet to update, however, you should not that it’s not a small update by any means. After all, this is Samsung we’re talking about here. In all, the update measures in at over 1.1GB.
The update is available over Wi-Fi or through Samsung’s Kies PC software and should be widely available to Galaxy Note Edge users on T-Mobile. You’ll need to ensure you have 50% or higher battery life to update over Wi-Fi, and ensure you have at least 3GB internal storage free. Specifically, this is software version N915TUVU1COD7 and is available ot users with either N915TUVU1ANK3 or N915TUVU1ANJL.
As always, let us know if you get it installed and how you’re liking the software. Also, get in touch if you have any issues with the new software or its installation.
Thanks for the tip, Tamim.
