Last year, T-Mobile teamed up with Univision to create a new prepaid brand aimed at the Hispanic market. Today, the company announced a new benefit to choosing its affordable price plans. Depending which plan you choose, you’re allotted a specific amount of international calling and roaming.
The new plans break down as follows:
- $30 plan – No 4G LTE data – Unlimited international texting plus up to $15 worth of international calling and roaming
- $35 plan – 500MB 4G LTE data – Unlimited international texting plus up to $20 worth of international calling and roaming
- $45 plan – 2GB 4G LTE data – Unlimited international texting plus up to $45 worth of international calling and roaming
- $55 plan – 5GB 4G LTE data – Unlimited international texting plus up to $55 worth of international calling and roaming
As well as adding in international calls, texts and roaming, Univision is introducing a new $35 plan which fits nicely in between the base-rate $30 plan and offers 500MB of data.
“Other wireless brands force you to buy additional International add-on features when you want to text and call other countries,” said Mike Sievert, Chief Marketing Officer, T-Mobile. “Not with Univision Mobile. Now you can call and text from the U.S., and even roam in other countries, at no extra charge and with nothing to sign up for. Combine that with T-Mobile’s Data Strong 4G LTE network experience, and you get the best value, period.”
Customers can sign up for a Univision Mobile wireless service at UnivisionMobile.com, participating Walmart stores, T-Mobile Simply Prepaid store or independent third-party dealers across the U.S. Once signed up, you’ll also get access to the unique Univision ringtones and wallpapers, sneak peeks of new Univision shows as well as UVideos and Uforia access.
