Hands on with the LG G3 [video]

As promised, a video showing an overview of the LG G3. I was at the announcement today, and rushed to get my hands on it immediately after the presentation ended. T-Mobile overtakes Sprint as #3 smartphone buyer

Earlier this week, Reuters published a report stating that when it comes to smartphone purchasing, T-Mobile was the third biggest carrier in Q1. In terms of smartphones, according to research undertaken by Counterpoint, T-Mobile is now closing in on AT&T, having purchased 6 million smartphones, while Sprint purchased 5 million. Galaxy Note 3, LG G Flex, Galaxy Light VoLTE software updates available

Yesterday, T-Mobile switched its VoLTE service on in Seattle. Alongside the big “switch on”, T-Mo announced that three of its handsets would receive software updates, allowing them to take advantage of VoLTE: Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Light and LG G Flex. Only recently we’d heard reports that Voice over LTE was on its way to T-Mobile. What that means is that instead of your device dropping to an older network technology to connect your calls, it’ll instead use the LTE network.
