I honestly have no idea what’s going on with this commercial other than to say it’s totally unlike anything I’ve seen T-Mobile do in recent memory. That being said, am I really complaining about hot CIA-types, a pro-surfer in a bikini and Sony’s flagship Xperia Z Android device now available only as a T-Mobile exclusive? Hell no. Still, I’d love to know which T-Mobile exec personally signed off on this ad and shake their hand for trying something totally out of the box. Like way, way out of the box for T-Mobile.

Will a hot surfer-type sell the Xperia Z? I seriously doubt it, but I’d choose to watch this commercial every day of the week and twice on Sundays than have to deal with another Kardashian sibling.
