There’s lot of goodness coming out of the AllThingsD D11 conference today an announcement from some Sony folks on the Xperia Z. According to Sony CEO Kaz Hirai “the company plans to soon start selling its flagship Xperia Z phone through a U.S. carrier shortly; increased marketing efforts should help things, Hirai said.” Unfortunately, Hirai wouldn’t reveal the upcoming US carrier but there’s plenty of signs pointing to T-Mobile could be “the” carrier including leaked images of branded test units and a FCC appearance with T-Mobile-ready radios. Sony’s expects the unnamed carrier will make the announcement itself so we’ll be keeping a sharp eye on T-Mobile’s press releases in the coming weeks.
