The Galaxy S 4 dev edition is real, so very real and it’s unlocked on both T-Mobile and AT&T LTE. The developer edition will sell through Google’ sPlay store beginning June 26th with 16GB of memory (expandable through microSD) for $649. The developer edition of the Galaxy S 4 will come bootloader unlocked and sold only through the Google Play store. This is pure stock Android with Galaxy S 4 internals…what more could you want?

While the Nexus 4 was subsidized by Google to allow for the $299 and $349 for the 8GB/16GB sizes, it appears as though Google isn’t subsidizing the Galaxy S 4 dev edition leading to the higher price tag.
