Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G Gets First CyanogenMod 10 Nightly
With the Galaxy S Blaze 4G finally receiving its Ice Cream Sandwich update, it was only a matter of time before the Android modding community went to work improving an already great mid-range device. Now, a new Google+ post from the CyanogenMod team yesterday afternoon alerted us to the introduction of CM10 nightlies for the Samsung T769, better known as the Blaze 4G. This is fantastic news for Blaze owners as the CM10 kit is based on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, which will likely only make its way onto the Blaze 4G because of the rooting and modding community.
The addition of CM10 to the Blaze 4G will breathe even more new life into your phone, far more than the Ice Cream Sandwich update could ever do. In fact, I can’t come up with very many reasons why you shouldn’t install this software. Still, we’re compelled to tell you that any software installation can void your warranty, so there’s that.
Grab the CM10 nightly from the Get.CM site and get started. You can learn more about rooting the Galaxy S Blaze 4G over at XDA-Developers. As always, all work is done at your own risk.
