During Samsung’s IFA keynote event and in between their considerable product announcements, the company said that Jelly Bean updates for the Galaxy S III and Galaxy Note will land “very soon.” This news doesn’t come as much of a surprise, given that we’ve already seen a leaked Jelly Bean ROM floating around for the T-Mobile Galaxy S III a number of leaks that indicated an announcement at the end of August. Still, it’s nice to hear official confirmation from the manufacturer itself and know that “very soon” can hopefully mean sometime in the next month, and not the next year.
Still, US carrier-branded models always seem to get stuck waiting just a tad bit longer than our international counterparts, but with official word from Samsung, we still have plenty to look forward to.
