Well, well, well, what have we here. According to a tip-off thanks to an eagle-eyed Walmart shopper, T-Mobile appears set to introduce some exclusive prepaid plans for T-Mobile’s Mobile Broadband network on May 21st. We’re running a little thin on info, but given the appearance of these plans on Walmart’s own website, it’s hard to argue there isn’t something new going on here. Walmart and T-Mobile appear set to add 3 plans:
T-Mobile $35 Prepaid Mobile Broadband Pass, 3.5GB, 60-Day:
- Provides 3.5GB of data usage
Good for 60 days
No activation fee, annual contract, credit check or overages - Works with any T-Mobile Internet device
T-Mobile $25 Prepaid Mobile Broadband Pass, 1.5GB, 30-Day:
- Provides 1.5GB of data usage
Good for 30 days
No activation fee, annual contract, credit check or overages - Works with any T-Mobile Internet device
T-Mobile $15 Prepaid Mobile Broadband Pass, 300MB, 7-Day:
- Provides 300MB of data usage
Good for 7 days
No activation fee, annual contract, credit check or overages - Works with any T-Mobile Internet device
We’ve already started to dig in to these plans (how we determined it’s the 21st), especially our own curiosity as to whether or not the device has to be purchased through Walmart or if you can provide your own. While these plans are on Walmart’s website, we’d still urge you take them with a grain of salt given how far in advance they are from the purported launch day.
