A software update is now available for the Nexus S which brings with a host of “bug fixes and security patches.”The 17.5MB software is specifically hoping to address some of the handset’s tethering issues which have plagued Nexus S users for some time. Along with tethering fixes the update will include a patch that changes some of the NFC functions within the handset.
It’s a small but necessary update hoping to address some of the issues Nexus S owners have found troubling for some time. The update should only take a couple of minutes to kick in so set the phone down, grab a drink and come right back and tether away.
