T-Mobile has provided a dose of good news for T-Mobile G-Slate owners as the Android 3.1 Honeycomb update is rolling out now! Bringing with a host of enhancements the update will appear on your tablet when it is available for install. T-Mobile of course insists that representatives cannot “expedite” the delivery of the update or push the update to tablets by request.”

So what kind of new goodies will you find with this update?

• Google Videos – a new videos app has been added that allows you to buy and rent movies
• Recent apps list expanded – shows all apps recently used
• Home screen resizable widgets – widgets built into Honeycomb 3.0 (Calendar, Email, Gmail etc) can now be resized vertically or horizontally
• USB accessory support – customers can now attach a keyboard, pouting device or gamepad for use with the G-Slate
• This update also fixes the force close issue in the Google Talk and Music applications
• Improves the browser and widget responsiveness
