While most Samsung users are wondering just when exactly the original Vibrant might receive its update to Android 2.2, the Samsung Vibrant 4G has been blessed with a release date. As it stands, Samsung is taking a very public backlash (and by public, we mean by people who intensely follow cellphone blogs) but are forging ahead with the launch of an updated variant of the original Vibrant. So February 23rd looks to be the day you can scoop up the “next gen” Samsung Vibrant 4G as this screen grab from a ninja’s email shows.
