Well this is one that you may have to take with a grain of salt, but lets hope for the best! Between June 16th, and August 1st, T-mobile has 16 phones slated for release, or should we say 16 device launches. The document from which we snatched this data is indeed internal T-mobile, however usually it is more of a good guess of what will happen, rather than an set-in-stone depiction of upcoming launches. That said, 16 launches, a color refresh, and Curve and Sidekick software updates are all things to get excited about! Off the top of our head, here are a few of the upcoming devices we know of:

• 1. Nokia 5310
• 2. Nokia 5610
• 3. Shadow II
• 4. Nokia 2760
• 5. Nokia 1208
• 6. Nokia 6301
• 7. Shadow III (Damn, did we say that?!)
• 8. Samsung T339
• 9. Samsung T229
• 10. Blackberry Bold
• 11. Blackberry KickStart
• 12. Motorola W450
• 13. Motorola Rokr E8

That leaves three unknown releases, given that all the listed devices will in fact launch in the next two months, which we highly doubt.

Now if only we could tell you about that awesome addition to MyT-mobile.com…but of course we can’t because we don’t want T-mobile to lose their edge in this competitive wireless industry. Update: Looks like this is coming sooner then we thought, look for an article in the next week!

Nothing too groundbreaking here folks, but just thought we’d let you in on some confirmations on upcoming phones, and their release dates. Here we go:

• Nokia 2760 - June 16th
• Samsung T339 - June 23rd
• Nokia 6301 - June 23rd
• Samsung T229 - June

Not too much of a ground-breaking article, but for those interested in any of these new low-end phones, here are some official T-mobile shots. Also, some good shots of the two new colors for the W490s, which you can pick up in stores on May 5th. Enjoy!

It looks like T-mobile has finally decided to switch over from Prepaid, to pay as you go. T-mobile will charge users $1 a day. This $1 charge will not occur if a call is not made that day. What, you might ask, do you get for $1 a day?

• Unlimited Mobile to Mobile calls
• Unlimited Nights Starting at 9 PM, 7:00 PM
• Unlimited Weekends Turns out Weekends are not included

So, what if I want to call during the day?

Well then unfortunately your going to get charged $.10 a minute. Text messages are not undergoing any price changes, and will be charged as they do now. Doesn’t seem like to bad of a deal to us though, especially with the nights starting at 7:00 PM. Hey T-mobile, wouldn’t it make it easier on your system to just switch everyone to 7:00 PM nights? For those interested in this new pay as you go plan, you can drop by a store and sign up starting April 30th. Oh, and if you were planning on picking up those two new prepaid Nokias (1208 and 2760) they will most likely not be available in any T-mobile store. Target, Walmart, Sams Club, and other indirect dealers got stuck with the two phones T-mobile wasn’t willing to sell in their stores.

We saw here that T-mobile added a sticker to their accessories stating their compatibility with Nokia models 6133, 6103, 6136, 5300, 2760, 6263, 6301, 3555, 1208, 5610, and the 5310. The bolded ones are the handsets that haven’t been released to T-mobile yet. The good news is that we can expect all five of these out in the next three months. The MyFave-less (See: Without MyFaves) 2760 and 1208 will be prepaid T-mobile handsets released on April 30th, at Wal-Mart stores on May 5th, and Target stores on May 19th. For those with standards so high that a VGA camera wont suffice, the other three Nokias should be out on May 12th, 19th, or the 21st. Hallelujah It’s raining Nokias!

Note: We have conflicting info on whether the 2760 will be prepaid or not. Lets leave it at TBD for now.
