What’s that I see? Might it be…the Shadow II

TNews on April 14th, 2008 | File Under T-mobile Shadow II -

[Picture Removed]

It’s confirmed from the picture, the Shadow II WILL have MyFaves. We can all breath a deep sign of relief. In this case, pictures speak better then words, so enjoy the first picture of what is going to hit T-mobile’s lineup soon. Who is TmoNews you ask? Oh well lets just say we’re the new source for everything T-mobile. This beauty not only will support T-mobile’s MyFaves, but it happens to be one of T-mobile’s 10 Hotspot@Home phones that they plan on releasing before back-to-school. Enjoy!

It Came, It Saw, It Conquered

TNews on April 14th, 2008 | File Under Motorola Razr V3 -

The fact that every single reader knows the name of the phone above is pretty impressive in itself. Not so long ago the Motorola Razr was the coolest thing to have. Kids begged for it, adults wanted one, everyone was clamoring for this new, cool Motorola phone. This news is coming out of Motorola, and not T-mobile, so those that would like to remain in denial, please do so until an official T-mobile announcement is made. The Razr has been one of T-mobile’s best selling phones since its release in July of 2005. But like any great phone, a downfall is inevitable. Coming Q3 of this year, T-mobile will discontinue selling the Motorola Razr V3. Some may mark this as the end of an era. Some may wonder what will come of T-mobile after the Razr is gone. Here at TNews we want you to keep your head up. The future looks bright, and as one door closes, many more may open. Our advice: stock up now, because unlocked Razrs are definitely not selling on Ebay for less then $40.

T-mobile’s plans through Aug. 2008

TNews on April 14th, 2008 | File Under Hotspot@home (TalkForever), Motorola Rokr E8, Motorola Z6W, Nokia 5310, Nokia 5610, Nokia 6301 -

The Nokia 5310 and the Nokia 5610

Have you been looking for some confirmation on when those Nokias are going to drop? Well here it is. The Nokia 5310 and 5610 will be launched on May 21st, no doubt about it. The Hotspot@Home friendly 6301 seems to be getting released on the 19th. Also, for those interested in the new colors for the W490, it looks like you will see Heather Grape and Bubble Gum launched on Monday May 5th. We’re still in for a color-refresh on the 12th, maybe just a black with red accents W490, or for you Pearl 2 8120 hopefuls, it could be some new 8120 colors. Oh, so you want to know more huh? Well I guess we can do that. Starting June 1st we should see a big new advertising campaign titled “Coverage Is Personal.” This campaign ends on June 25th, but as to not let you down, that so happens to be the day T-mobile is nationally launching T-mobile TalkForever II, with the new router and Vtech cordless phone. One final note, the Motorola Z6w is no longer listed as an upcoming phone. We are working to confirm this, but those Z6w hopefuls may have to snatch one off of ebay.
