It’s raining Nokias!

Raining Nokias

We saw here that T-mobile added a sticker to their accessories stating their compatibility with Nokia models 6133, 6103, 6136, 5300, 2760, 6263, 6301, 3555, 1208, 5610, and the 5310. The bolded ones are the handsets that haven’t been released to T-mobile yet. The good news is that we can expect all five of these out in the next three months. The MyFave-less (See: Without MyFaves) 2760 and 1208 will be prepaid T-mobile handsets released on April 30th, at Wal-Mart stores on May 5th, and Target stores on May 19th. For those with standards so high that a VGA camera wont suffice, the other three Nokias should be out on May 12th, 19th, or the 21st. Hallelujah It’s raining Nokias!

Note: We have conflicting info on whether the 2760 will be prepaid or not. Lets leave it at TBD for now.

T-Mobile - Simply Indecisive

TNews on April 11th, 2008 | File Under T-mobile.com News -

With T-mobile, you get more! Er wait…we mean stick together…wait… are you ready for some more unsubstantiated rumors? From the all-too suspicious anonymous source on HoFo, we have a suggestion that T-mobile might be changing their slogan in the US, as well as their site. While we have no information suggestion this is or is not true, the whole thing seems a bit shady to us. Here are two supposed mock-ups:

Mock Up 1 - New slogan, same site. Notice “Simply Unlimited” and “Simply Connected” in the bottom left corner. T-mobile International anyone?

Mock Up 2 - New slogan, new site. Seems a bit too…simple for us.

Some fun T-Mobile updates (10 new UMA phones!)

TNews on April 11th, 2008 | File Under Hotspot@home (TalkForever) -

We just received a tip that the TalkForever II, which was previously delayed, has been set for launch on April 15th. Although this date isn’t set in stone, its as good as your gonna get for now.

As long as we’re on the subject, we’ll let you in on another little secret. By the time Back To School rolls around, T-mobile plans on having 10 NEW UMA (Hotspot@Home) phones out. Sounds like a stretch to us, but we’re rooting for ya T-mobile! We definitely wont complain about 10 new H@H phones.

T-mobile’s higher-ups are plaining on releasing an Iphone killer in the Q3 of 2008. Most likely (although still a guess) is the Blackberry 9000. No matter what it is, it WILL be a touch screen with BB power.

The Shadow MKII should be out during the summer also. T-mobile put pretty tight cost-restrictions on HTC while making the Shadow, which annoyed some HTC employees who stuck them with the same processor as the Dash. The good news, however, is that the Shadow MKII should see all-around improvements. A slimmer and more round shape for sure. Thats all for now folks, but keep your eyes open (especially for the pictures of the new Shadow), we have some more fun information coming soon.

T-Mobile TalkForever II - Delayed

TNews on April 11th, 2008 | File Under Hotspot@home (TalkForever) -

T-mobile: In order to ensure a positive customer experience, we have delayed TalkForever for another two to three months.

Translation: Woah! We messed up, give us some time to cover our @$$€$ while we try to fix it and release it again.

Traditionally, T-mobile has made it a point to get it right the first time, or delay it. So keeping with tradition, T-mobile has decided the delay the release of TalkForever II. Originally, we expected this new service on April 30th, along with a new linksys router, and a cordless Vtech phone. From what we can tell, the release date is tentative for July 2nd, which seems odd to us because T-mobile never releases products on Tuesdays, but I guess we will have to wait and see.

Welcome all you T-mobile fanatics. Here, at T-MoBlog, we will keep you updates on everything you need to know about T-mobile. Who, do you ask, are we? Well, we would love to tell you, but lets keep it a secret for now. Lets just say we know information, that you want to know. We usually know before Engadget and BGR do too. Show your friends, show your enemies, we don’t care, we just want to get this info out there (catch the rhyme?). Considering how cool that last sentence was, we’re going to go start blogging about more productive things, like the Shadow II, and TalkForever II being delayed. Enjoy!
